Snailbrain or just Snails on the Brain?

You know, I've always had a fondness for those little slimy creatures. Isn't he cute? My mom's obsessed with them and so we've always had snail themed stuff around my hour. They're so cute and fragile and shy, ducking into their shiny brown shells. I like the way they move. The iridescent slime they trail behind them, lovely. Snail slime is a metaphor...sometimes beautiful things come from ugly situations...

But here's the run down on the Gastropods:

- they have one foot and move with muscular contractions...slow moving

- Gastropod means belly-footed animal

- Land snails are in the minority! Strange, right?

- some snails hibernate during the winter months

- most are hermaphrodites

- snails lay eggs...up to 100 in a brood

- snails are vegetarians

- escargot is a crime.

Hrmmm...also I'm still working on [snailbrain]. I can't figure out what to do with the ending, especially now that Val and T.A. Luke Wilson aren't on me to finish the thing. Oh the burden of endless hours to write!
